Decayed Portraits

Decayed Portraits examines the quiet collapse of identity through fractured faces, skeletal fragments, and fading anatomy. Each portrait blends human presence with elements of decay, creating a tension between what remains and what disappears. The series follows a restrained, gothic visual language:  – partially decomposed facial structures  – anatomical exposure rendered with sculptural calm  – muted, painterly tones that evoke historical portraiture  – expressions held in stillness, suspended between life and absence  – surfaces marked by cracks, erosion, and subtle ruin Decayed Portraits is a study of dignity within deterioration — a reflection on how identity persists even as its form unravels. It is not a celebration of the macabre, but a meditation on the beauty of what fades.
