The Quiet Archive

A set of monochrome portraits preserved within rigid frames, treated as silent specimens rather than expressive faces. Each piece reveals controlled damage—cracks, stitches, mechanical traces—transforming the human form into an archived object. The works hold a clinical stillness: identity suspended, emotion reduced to surface, fragility documented with precision. The Series Explores  Preserved identity — the face as an artifact, not a subject.   Damage as evidence — fractures and repairs functioning as visual records.   Clinical silence — a cold, observational atmosphere where expression is restrained.   Human–object tension — the body treated as a stored specimen.   Monochrome austerity — black and white as a language of distance, preservation, and clarity. A quiet archive of fractured faces, held in suspension and preserved in their most essential form.
